The App Communicates in two ways
Push Notifications & Messaging Groups
Push Notifications are one directional and are addressed to your PHONE. Messaging Groups are more personal and two way, a bit like WhatsApp!

Allow and Turn on Notifications.
As with most Apps you need to "allow notifications" when you install them on your phone if you want to receive messages from the App provider. You "allow" messages in you App setting on your phone in the same way you do for all other Apps. But additionally you need to let us know what type of Notifications you want to see. To do this click on your user profile, go down "App Settings" and "Notifications" and select the things you want reminders for and information about. This list will change over time, but make sure you have selected "General" so we can send you a message if there is a new group to enable.
Messaging Groups, we need you to select at least one.
Ok, Technically you don't have to join a group, but doing so helps us interact with you and check that your user is interacting properly with the KingsChurchWokingham App.
So as you join up we suggest you join one of two groups... if you are regularly involved with us, either through Sunday morning meetings, the Well on Wednesdays, a Life Group, King's Kiddies or any other regular gathering you should request to join the "Kings Church Community" group.
Someone will check your application... to make sure you we know each other and to make sure your app details are connected to any other info we have on you to make future sign up etc a bit easier.
Other wise you are can immediately join the "Kings Church Connections" group... you will have access to most things on the app, but won't get messages you don't need.
