How it all started
Kings Church Wokingham and Binfield came into being during the 1980s as one of the off-shoots of Kings Church Reading, a growing independent, charismatic, evangelical church. Several new churches were planted out in the local area due to the significant growth that was taking place.
The Wokingham and Binfield churches merged in 1997 and became Kings Church Wokingham, based in the Youth and Community Centre in Wokingham.
Times changed, events occurred and in 2020 the Wokingham church sadly divided, each group going their separate way, resulting in two smaller congregations.
