To be completed on Nov 14th
If you're here then you probably already know that I'm planning a 21km plus walk as part of my re-habilitation after another two strokes this year. I'm now on drug trial to try to prevent these "lacuna strokes" and the neuro-physiotherapists have worked on my stamina and balance and are encouraging me to walk with my dogs, from Windsor Castle to Cookham Bridge and Home... I've had to adjust my original route as there a footbridge that's been closed, but the distance is the same!
It's also coincided with a fund-matching opportunity to raise funds to buy the iconic Hope & Anchor Pub right next door to Kings Church's meeting place and offices. Our midweek participation is now bigger than our Sunday meetings, so the Hope and Anchor would allow us to add children's and youth work, a community cafe for our Hong Kong-ers, accomodation for short term mission teams and interns and a host of new opportunities. The space also allows us to redevelop our main hall to accomodate a bit over 200. It can currently take 110 people, though we occasionally break that!
EVERY £1 Raised is FundMatched UP to £75,000
This is an amazing opportunity... it can more than double your support...
So if you're happy to sponsor me you can do so via the form at the bottom of the page, where you will also find a QR code and a link that allows you to send the sponsorship amount directly to Kings Church, this can be gift aided too (if you are a UK tax payer).
Please note the route change, due to a closed footbridge.

NOTE: A £500 Sponsorship WITH GIFT AID and fund matching is worth £1200!
