Take care on the road,
for it's not as wide as you think.
If you are not always fully alert
and do not keep looking where you are going,
you may suddenly find that you are no longer within its narrow confines.
Take care on the road,
for at times it can be rough and steep.
Many obstacles lie in the path,
it isn't always smooth going or flat.
As its way lies through rugged mountains and down into unexpected valleys.
Take care on the road,
for it is long and winding.(
To reach the end takes dogged determination and purposeful perseverance.
You need to travel with the end in mind,
even though it is an end that you cannot see.
Do not lose your nerve, bow down to discouragement or give in to the enticing calls of the world.
Take care on the road.
for it's not as wide as you think.
If you are not always fully alert

you may suddenly find that you are no longer within its narrow confines.

Take care on the road.
Let's Pray...
In the Psalms, David said:
‘Your words are a lamp to my feet and a light to my path’ - Psalm 119:105
and in Proverbs it says:
‘remember the Lord in everything you do, and He will show you the right way.’ - Proverbs 3:6
Thank you Heavenly Father that you have said that,
as I look to you,
so you will guide my pathway through this life.
Your desire is for me to live an abundant life
in this world and the world to come.
You know me through and through.
You know what is best for me.
Please direct my footsteps,
give me clear vision for my next steps on my pathway through life
and take me deeper into your plans and purposes.
I ask this because,
I want to do my best in fulfilling your best for me.
